My mom provided many gifts to me as I was growing up in my parents' home. I wanted to write about it today, but there is sooo much to say. So, over the past week, to use a cooking analogy, I boiled it all in my thoughts, reducing it to one very important gift from her.
She taught me to use loving the Lord, loving people, loving nature and children and hard work and challenges.....she taught me to use all of this to find JOY in every day. She taught me that no matter what happened yesterday, today can be a joyful day.
WOW!! What a gift. She is very special and has an uncanny ability to be happy no matter what the circumstances. What else would you expect from someone who has 75 punch bowls? Punch bowls represent a party, joy, people....they fit with her passion for life.
Happy Mother's Day Mom! And thanks for such a special gift.

That is really well written. Very true! We went out to eat and D saw a shelf up high.. He told us it "needed
